Padded items
Padded items should not be washed as the cotton wadding can shrink. Please dry clean only. (And see note below about Brigitte Singh items.)


Coloured linen and cotton
•    Wash at 30°C on a Delicates programme
•    Use a gentle detergent
•    Dry out of direct sunlight
•    Do not tumble dry


White linen and cotton, including hand embroidered khurta
This is all best washed on cold with a good colour protective powder. We do not recommend tumble drying at all.


Corduroy and Velvet
Dry cleaning is fine and a cold wash with a good colour protective powder. We do not recommend tumble drying at all.
Iron on the reverse for best results.


Silk
Dry cleaning is reccommended. We do not recommend tumble drying at all.


Velvet
Dry cleaning is fine and a cold wash with a good colour protective powder. We do not recommend tumble drying at all.

Felted Wool
Dry cleaning is fine and a cold wash with a good colour protective powder. We do not recommend tumble drying at all.

Brigitte Singh
All Brigitte Singh clothes are hand printed using traditional methods. Particular care therefore needs to be taken when cleaning these items.
•    Gentle hand wash, or machine wash on ‘Delicate’ programme, with short spin cycle.
•    30°C maximum.
•    Do not soak, nor keep wet in the washing machine.
•    Do not tumble dry
•    Dry cleaning is only possible using KWL agent. Please ensure your dry cleaner uses this agent.
•    To treat stains: colourless liquid soap for dish-washing can be applied to fresh organic stains before washing.
